Listen to Your Heart
All my life my heart has been whispering true things to me. Some of the things that I just absolutely knew I was supposed to do I only knew because my heart told me.
My Heart Tells Me the Truth
When I was breaking up with a terrible boyfriend but having a hard time ending the relationship my heart said quietly and firmly, ‘leave.’
I HATED my first job and felt it was wasting my time, my heart said ‘you were made for more than this.’
I struggled through an unplanned pregnancy and my heart said ‘God has a plan.’
My Heart is Willing to Make Hard Decisions
When I don’t know which way to go, my heart—if I’m willing to listen—has very clear ideas.
The best decisions I’ve ever made have come from listening to my heart even when it is the hardest thing in the world to do. As wild as I sometimes think my heart is, it is also TRUE. It’s constantly assessing whether the risk of going forward is worth the reward. Whether going forward with every decision is true to my beliefs, will make me a better woman and mama.
Even when it has been really hard to see the way forward, my heart has been steady and sure.
My Heart Puts What I Value Most, FIRST
I’ve found that its one of the strongest entrepreneurial tools that I am equipped with. Decisions about my work, about providing for my family, about my time, are some of the most important decisions in my life. My heart holds everything that is valuable to me close, so listening to it is essential to making the right decisions for myself and my family.
- My heart worships God and loves my children like crazy and wants to put my family first.
- My heart values my ideas and dreams even when they don’t seem practical.
- My heart believes in and hopes for GREATER THINGS than my mind thinks are possible.
Because of these things, my heart helps me to make the kind of tough decisions that otherwise seem impossible.
If You Ask A Question, Be Willing to Heart the Answer
If you’re a woman that is reading this because you have a dream or idea that you want to make reality but you feel scared or stuck or uncertain, try asking your heart. AND, be willing to listen when it speaks. If your heart is anything like my own, it doesn’t settle easily or just quietly go with the flow. Your heart wants you to succeed and knows which way to go, you just have to trust it.

How Does this Relate to Me?
I believe listening to your heart is a key entrepreneurial instinct. If you are truly passionate about your dream, I’m pretty sure your heart will tell you to go for it. If you’re a mom that is dying to write a book, your heart will tell you to write it. I believe listening to your heart, valuing your dreams is a part of becoming the woman you are made to be.
The day that I decided to start the Million Dollar Mama Club™ it was something I absolutely HAD TO DO. I realized that there was a chance it would fail but something inside of me said if you don’t try, you’ll never know. And the truth is, the more that I worked on bringing this site and the beginner level resources to life, the more passionate I became about connecting with a world of incredible women, busy moms, professionals, creatives, that have big dreams and don’t know what to do next. Entrepreneurs find a way forward. You become an entrepreneur when you start taking clear steps to make your dream reality.
The Million Dollar Mama Club™ is a perfect FIRST STEP for busy women. I don’t know where following your dreams will take you (and neither do you!) but if you ignore them any longer, I can guarantee you will NEVER KNOW.
